as I am back from the zoo with all 6 kids and my sanity intact :D

We had a fantastic day ( despite my moody 9yr old doing the best to ruin the happy vibes early on :rolleyes:). The kids were so good- I am so pleased with them all for behaving perfectly and doing me proud :thumbsup: Even my screamer had a great time :clapping: Am Emma (my 3yr old) walked her little legs off bless her :D

Had a few nice comments from strangers too. They loved my high viz jackets and were very impressed that a childminder would take so many out on a day trip like that.

All in all a huge success and I'm so glad I braved it as the kids had an absolute ball!

Oh, and DH was a star and had a lovely homemade spag bol waiting for all the kids when we got home so I didnt have to cook :D

Your a star, well done for taking them all. We are going next week for ds 5th birthday. He loves Meerkats and Lemurs he has seen them before but Marwell seems to have more. How long did you spend there? Any advice? Was it busy? I can't wait to go roll on next week.

we were there from about 10.30 til 4ish, which was about right time wise.It wasn't too busy at all, which I was pleased about. Have you been before? Its lovely there. The meerkats are so cute!

I'd advise you to take your own coffee and lunch as their prices are a bit steep.

No we haven't been before. Its about 1hour and half away. We have always gone to Drusillas before but i wanted to show ds Giraffes ect. We took him to the tiger zoo at isle of white but he was only 18months at the time. I'm expecting it to get expensive as ive promised him a meerkat toy. We found a Lemur in Claires acessories of all places and he loves it. Bob and his duck go to bed with him and come down in the morning.
