im due my inspection and i know i have to do RISK ASSESMENTS!

Ive done the checklist one from the NCMA but then you have to write it up into a word type document, but one of the questions is do you do a risk assesment every time you go on outings? no so does anyone already have a every single outing form? do they mean everytime you go to the park or just somewhere new?

also were having some work done in kitchen ive got gate across and moved dinig table into lounge, ive been told thats ok as long as ive done a risk assesment - so again is this a one off formi fill in? does anyone have one?

regards & thanks in advance

one risk assessment for each outing but you need to re assess atleast every 6 months

same with r/a's in your home redo every 6 months or when you take on a new child

i have a daily r/a in my home too checking things like medicine cupboard is locked, back gate is bolted, keys are in the correct place etc

some places have their on risk assessments such as zoo's etc so email them for copies if you plan to use their facilities

at xmas i rearranged my lounge to fit the tree in and did a new r/a then once it was down and all back inplace i did another r/a

Here is a sample of building I am having done and the risk assessment that I did and 2 of my outings. 1 shows walking/car and then the is used along side another one which I have attached for the park.

Ofsted came last week and she said these were one of the most detailed she had seen, so I confident they will pass yours
