Only a week and a half till the school holidays ...

So anyone freaking out about school holidays yet? :laughing:

This is my very first working school holiday as a childminder and I have got:

2 five year old's (boy and a girl), an 8 year old girl and an 11 year old girl. I don't have any under fives as yet and just for these 2 weeks I am glad!

I am meeting up with a childminder friend of mine most days and we worked out on our busiest day we will have 7 kids between us:
2,3,4,5,5,8 and 11 :eek:

So how many have you lot got?

I am only working the first week, up until the Thursday. The second week I have booked off, so I can spend time with my kiddies on our own and I can't wait!!!

I will only be having 2 mindees here the rest are term time

I am only working the Thursday of the secon week as am on holiday the first week and my full timer is a teacher so only wants one day. I can't wait to spend time with my daughter visiting friends.

I am having a quiet holidays with 5 out of the 8 with only 5. Monday and Tuesdays are busy though with 12 so we will be working with other minders and borrowing car space or using the park alot!

Lots of crafts at Poundland which I raided at the weekend to keep everyone entertained too.

I have between four and five each day of the hols. I have planned a big day out on each Wednesday and lots of trips to softplay, the park and the library on the others! Also got loads of easter crafts in so we can make lots of nice things too! Hopefully the weather will stay dry and we can spend alot of time in the garden too.

oh did I say I'm off to Canada on my own!!!!
Going to stay with a family who I used to look after their girls. The youngest is now 10 and has already organised where she is going to take me

On my busiest I will have 4 age 2 and under, 5 year old, 7 year old, 2 x 8 year old plus my 2 older ones of 11 and 14!

Take the 14 year old out of the picture and its a doddle lol

Only working Mon-Thurs the 1st week and have the 2nd week off!! :clapping:

The first week I have my own two - 2 and 7 - the hardest two of the lot!! And also a 15month old, 22month old and 5 year old - all girls, my poor son is outnumbered!

Hoping for a bit of sun and dry for garden and park, lots of art and craft activities and walks in woods etc.

Cant wait for week 2!!

I am working the whole of the holidays both weeks (dah:panic: ).
I will have 3 under 2yrs 2X6yrs 1x8yrs and 1x10yrs.

I normally have 4 over the hols but will have 7 both both easter wks, kinda makes me housebound apart from walks to the park as 2 are too little for adventure playground and cant get 7 in my car but Hubby is off work the first wk YAY he can transport my own two so hopefully we can get out to the farm and ofcourse as he has to come with me he can help with our own kiddies leaving me to concentrate on a buggy and 4 walkers.
