Food Standards Agency. Free File and refils

If you go on the Food Standards Agency website
http://www.food.gov.uk/foodindustry/regulation/hygleg/hyglegresources/sfbb/you can request a FREE file Safer Food for Business and I just got a letter from them on how to order FREE refils.

Ordered mine today. We have all just registered with our local environmental health people. They are going to inspect all of us so they say?

I have had mine since I read about it in one of Sarahs books. I find it really useful. My inspector had never seen it used by a childminder before and was very impressed:rolleyes:

Had mine since May 2008 and got aletter off them today on how to order free refils, excellent :D

I was told by the local childrens center that there are not enough food inspectors to cover all childminders, they will intially look at those who offer a full menu and those offering cold foods only will be way down the line ... dont take this as a definate plan though its just what I was told.

I have been registered since may i think and never had a call, i stopped serving hot meals in sept due to rushing to cook and feed after schoolies and not having any time to play and chill out.

Hi, Yes its a useful document. I was given mine from the food standards agency when I registered with the environmental health last year. A good idea to put on the link. I must learn how to do that, I don't know how to add a link!!! I will have to ask my son to help me!
