Just a query!!! if you do your invoices on the computer and save them you have to register to store peoples information and you also have to obtain a licence but I can't remember which goverment department you have to register with.Anyone know anything as I was thinking of doing this,but at the moment I don't store any personal info because of this.

fairly sure you don't if its just for records and invoicing as you are only holding the address of the customer and not any further personal data.

But could be wrong...

I use Sage.

Doesn't the info come under the date protection which you have to register with if you have photos on your computer?

i have registered £35 a year a lot of money but goes through the accounts and gives me peace of mind that i am covered
