I had my first mum come to visit this morning. She was lovely, and has intimated that her son would be REALLY happy in my home. I have yet to meet him, she came round with her youngest after she dropped the lad off to school. She also asked if I would consider taking her youngest as well.

I said i would need to consider that a bit more, since I can only have one under 5 and he would be taking up that place for only 2 days term time only, but he was lovely and I would really enjoy looking after him. He does already have a minder which is good as there is no rush to make a decision.

So she's going to email me her actual requirements and I am going to look to see how that fits. Then we are going to make a date to meet her oldest to see I he likes my home.

Quite excited really, oooooh! AND apparently the woman who I reported to Ofsted for leaving the infant in the car - this mum went to see her a while back and was appalled at the 'cattle market' she saw in her home! and has seen children left in the car many many times! Apparently there are several childminders who take a sharp intake of breath when other parents say that she is on their list!!! Still good for my business though - if she's my competition! This mum who was talking to me today must think I am a bit of a wuss though as I had tears in my eyes when she was describing the things other people were saying about her. :(

So hopefully we will sign on the dotted line soon enough and I will have my first mindee on the books hurrah!
