I have a six year old mindee starting tomorrow just for after school. Do you do a sheet to say what they have done or do you do a verbal hand over for the older children.

Thanks
Kerry.

I asked mum what she would like me to do as mine started in a holidays & I did a diary as she was here full days. Mumsaid that she would prefer a verbal handover - so thats what I do now.

Personally I much prefer a diary, but I go with what the parent wants/likes

over 6's do not need a daily diary that is correct but some cm's do offer it to parents.

I do a daily diary for my 8 year old .. he has additional needs too.
but all my other after schoolies are verbal hand overs.

I do have a weekly diary sheet that the children can fill in if they want too, sometimes they do othertimes they dont it really depends on their moods - childrens choice.
