Has anyone used work experiments teenagers who are on childcare course

I have been asked by my local nursery if a girl on placement from our local college could do some work experence with me and my children, she has been crb checked and she would only be volunteering....but would i still have to register her as an assistant???
it would be good to get some help!!!

I would check with Ofsted to see what they think. xx

If she is under 17 then no. She won't be left alone with the children at any time and so isn't an assistant.
