The picture went in.... but didn't come out :(

On the plus side Maplin said email them to tell them in writing and they'll send a new one out today - no need to send the old one back. :clapping:

Was laminating caterpillare pictures - now I'll have to come up with a new plan. That means thinking on a Friday :panic:

Go outside and look for some caterpillars under leaves... or evidence of them eating...

LOL

i bought one from Asda because everyone else on here has one.

It's fantastic and was only 9 pounds.

I'm just waiting fot it to break though because it was so cheap.

Reckon it's only a matter of time before I'm joining club too.

Mine was about £11 in Woolworths. Its great. I get the pouches when the 99p Store or Poundland have them in. All seem as good quality as those that I have bought from Rymans before.

If you are laminating small pieces of paper/card you should use a cardboard sleeve to take the pouch smoothly though the laminator. :D

My pack of pouches came with a sleeve. I do find I need to put it though twice as obviously it doesn't get quite so hot.

I stuck one sheet through the wrong way round and it didn't come out the otherside. Hubby took it apart and fixed it for me - he's good like that.

Don't ask me how I managed it but I also put an already laminated sheet through by accident that had a piece of blue tac stuck to it. The blu tac kind of melted and every now and then I get a sticky piece come through on another sheet. I have abused it terribly but it still keeps going. One of the best and cheapest buys ever.

I've 'killed' two laminators!
BUT I do tend to do daft things like laminate leaf pictures!
Hubby goes mental!!
