I'm not sure if any of you have seen or heard of these little spiral books but they are a great buy and are never ending.

I have a small collection as when i have a few quid spare and im on line i sometimes do add to it :)

you can get them on amazon just type in The little book of...... and the list will come up. They are by sally featherstone and she has a web shop where deals can be done.
http://www.featherstone.uk.com/osb/showitem.cfm/category/43

There are approx 50 of these books but there are always more being added! They are about £8 sometimes amazon do them for a fiver (bargin)
worth their weight in gold.

they have every title imaginable i have.... dough, mark making, role play, messy play.
Jam packed with ideas on the subject titled, acctivites, what ya need and how to do it!!!

I have just looked at the link you gave and they look brilliant.

Think I might have to invest in some of them.

Thank you

I found out about them just before Xmas. They were suggested reading on my Early Years course. So I have only managed 3 but have a priority list.

Really good simple ideas. They often use/recycle stuff so cheap activities too:clapping:

She has one called 'Outside all weathers' which I'm sure we'll all find very useful for EYfS! :D

As well as outside in all weathers there is
the little book of outdoor play
Playground Games
Growing Things
The seasons
Investigations
Light and shadow

Guess who was doing an outdoor play module in Oct/Nov/Dec:jump for joy:
Practice for outside play in all weathers we were told, unfortunately the course was in the evening and it was too dark to see anything Lol.
