Was a complete bag a nervous waiting for them to arrive as they were 15 mins late...I was thiinking the worst that theyy wouldn't come or had changed their minds etc.
Anyway, I needn't have worried he was a great wee thing, hardly cried at all except when he was tired and that was it. As he is only 5 1/2 mths old we took things easy and we played on the gym mat and he loves the leapfrog learn & groove. We sang nursery rhymes and took a trip into town.
Tomorrow, we are going to the childminder drop in group and having a little party in the house for my dd who turns 1 (had BIG party yesterday)
I'm shattered but the day went by quite quick, actually I don't think I actually sat down today and I had 1 cup of tea when normally I would have had 6:o
Hopefully by the end of the week I will relax abit more about the whole thing.
Think the mum was quite pleased as I did up a "My 1st day at Bright Sparks" with pictures of him today doing different things!

awsome well done I'm so glad you had a wonderful first day and Mum was pleased too.
and yes make sure you have more than one drink, cant have you dehydrating ... I have a sports bottle just like my mindees so it doesnt get spilt and i remember to drink though I have a few hours on my own each day where I get my vups of tea in too.

Glad you had such a lovely day!
I used to get shattered at the end of the day when I first started too and hardly had time to eat or drink! You kind of get into a routine with it though in the end and you can chill a bit more!
Hope you have fun tomorrow at the c/m drop in!
