Nows the time to register for Tesco vouchers.

I'm already registered from last year so should get a pack automatically.

Oh and my Sainsbury pack has arrived at last!

Can you let me know how to register with sainsburys as when i had a look only school, scouts and guides had a option? Did you email them or something?

Can you remember from last year roughly how many vouchers I would have to collect before I could exchange them for something? :)

I put 0 and 17.

Its to check you meet the criteria as you have to have children under 18 yrs.

i think the problem is you dont need to put 'years' or 'months' - took about 10 mins to figure that out! lol
anyone know how many vouchers we need before we can get something back?

I've just had a look to see how many vouchers you need to collect and there is no way I'll ever be able to collect enough as most of my parents shop at asda or morrisons as they are nearer. I'm not going to bother registering.

I wasn't aware childminders could claim them. I emailed sainsburys about their scheme and they said childminders weren't included so i couldn't register on theres! How did you manage to do it?:)

Hi Louised, where did you find that information? We shop at Tesco's but I don't know if we'll collect enough.

You can "bank" your vouchers and save them until next year. You can do this with Sainsbury's too.

So even if you don't think you will collect many it's still worth registering and saving them. I banked all my tesco vouchers last year and I'm hoping to get something worthwhile this year

Hi Miffy,

Apologies if I sound thick LOL but when you say 'bank' them do you mean keep them to one side or do we have to do something with them?

I have just filled in the form and hope it was ok. Have written a quick note to give to mindees parents for donations of vouchers! Will tell them and put slips in their bags. Tesco is one of our local shops so I hope some of them will donate a few instead of to school. A few of my neighbours give them to me too.

Sorry, didn't explain that very well. I sent the vouchers I collected last year to Tesco when the scheme finished but didn't order any equipment. Tesco verify how many vouchers you have sent in and then put the number in an account for you. I can add the vouchers I get this year to those that I banked last year so I can get equipment of higher value.

Sainsbury's are doing the same and this year you will be able to bank their vouchers too. Previously you had to spend all your Sainsbury's vouchers, you couldn't save them.

Hope that's a bit clearer now

Miffy xx

Sainsburys did take some perusading last year. The girl I got on the phone had to keep putting me on hold to ask someone else as I wouldnt take No for an answer. In the end, she agreed although she said she didnt think I would get enough vouchers to get anything!!

I just went into my Sainsburys this morning and I think I will be banned soon! Every time I am in the queue behind someone who says No thanks to the vouchers, I jump in and say can I have them please? Its worked out well though as so far I have about 50 vouchers I didnt spend money to get!! :clapping: :clapping:

Is anyone aiming for anything specific out of the catalogue?

I like the look of the Rainbow river stones on page 70
