I'm trying to get up to date on my accounts, I have set up a spread sheet etc, but now I'm confused! it doesn't take much!
If for example the last week of September, the monday was the 29th Sept and ended on Friday 3rd October. Should this week be in Septembers accounts or Octobers?
Any help would be great.

if you are starting the wk as a monday then keep it with the month that the modnay falls on.

I use NCMA accounts book. Use the monday date to start the week so that would be September

It really doesn't matter as long as the data is in there.

I use my own paperwork and I run my expenses the same as my monthly dates/times.

If the week has more than 2 days in it then it goes at the end of the month and if less at the beginning of the following month

i.e. September 28th would be a Monday and therefore 3 days would be worked and so would go in September expenses. If Monday was the 30th then it would go into October.
