My one and only mindee, since moving to Wales, has had his hours cut to 5.5:( . Just no enquiries going around at the moment:( . I know it will pick up one day but it is sooooooooooo frustrating.

cm;s are losing mindees around here too due to parents losing their jobs, I've been lucky so far and not lost any but also not filled my full time place for over 12 months either.

Hardly any phone calls in my area either - I may well live to regret it but have had no choice but to agree to mind a 1 year old boy who hasn't settled at nursery after 4 months!!

I don't know how the Childcare link site works in your area but in Somerset it isn't in A-Z order, it is the most recent listing at the top - so people in the know keep ringing the childcare team to amend adverts (slightly) to keep names at the top of the list.

Work been thin on the ground for about 5 years here but get sorted eventually, so don't give up hope! :thumbsup:
