My paperwork will all be in files which have a clip at the front to close, then stored under my stairs in a locked cupboard is this seen as ok or do i need to do something more?

Your doing exactly what I am doing, personally I think that should be fine I have too much paperwork to store it in anything but a cupboard!

This is what I have. I only have one file holding all my contracts and information sheets so not much space required.
