... as have my grumpy mindee back:rolleyes: !!!!! Has been bliss with out her all week, no doubt she will be at her very worst after being on mums hip for 9 days, great!!! Oh well!!!

SO far i've not been able to do any planning for her, yes I have rough notes/ideas both jotted down in my diary and in my head but basically have to take each day as it comes.

I have decided though that will see how this half term goes, and if really no improvement then if I get the offer of another full timer I will give notice. Can't bare to do it just yet as really want to turn this around if I can. At least now its not so wet and cold we can get outside more, its easier being outdoors!!

Me too Jules. I've had a blissful, quiet week and tomorrow 'The Whinger' is back.
He also will be truely awful as has had a week of undivided attention and spoiling
Ah well ! time to find the earplugs.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Jules.

I have felt like you ladies for the last 6 months and dreaded the doorbell going at 9.30am so I decided I wasn't being professional as I didn't feel I could properly care for the two children with real emotion and gave them notice!!!!
2 days later I received a call for full time care for 1 child and it is more per week than the two put together and I feel that he will fit into our setting far easier than the previous two!!!
I feel so much happier and so do my family which at the end of the day is the most important thing!!!!
Good luck and keep smiling!!!!!

hope its going ok!

my 'mr grump' has arrived, and so far is fine, which, considering he's had a week of undivided attention from lots of adults, is amazing! hope it lasts!

Well she arrived at 8am, by 8.02am she was at her most grumpy, lol!!! OK so she has had 9 days being on mummys hip so will take a bit of time to adjust again:rolleyes: Mondays are always the worst with her anyway!!!

She whined on the school run, in the car, all the way round town then fell asleep in the car, managed to get her in with out her waking up (doesn't happen often) and she is presently sound asleep!! BLISS!!!! how long for i wonder though????
