View Full Version : Been to Ikea today....

For the first time ever, WOW!! (we live almost 2 hrs away) Had a great day lol!!! Bought a couple of those bookcases that are on offer and they are fab!! Just need to buy a few more storage boxes as some of mine won't fit. Was tempted with the boxes that were on display with the book case but couldn't REALLY afford the number I need!!! They have certainly made my toy/equipment storage look so much neater!!!

Also bought a new everyday dinner set as ours is about 9 years old and has depleated over the years!!!! Could have spent a fortune but controled myself .... this time!! LOL!!:laughing: :laughing:

You lucky thing, we looovvveeee ikea used to be a problem as it was 2 hours away, but now we have one 45mins away which has just opened not sure if its a good or bad thing :laughing:

I have 12 but its not enough and I don't really want to go for just those as I will end up buying more.

Seriously if they have them in black when you get there can you get me 4 and I will pick them up from you at the weekend.

If you can't get any and you want some I will probably go and get some from Cov store (there are in stock there) with the next week or so if you want me to get you some.

They are out of stock nearly everywhere, I posted about them yesterday or I would of got u some!! I even called today to check the website was correct and it was :angry:

I will go and get some from Coventry then, they have them there at the moment, shame cos I was right by there yestarday and didn't think about going. Good excuse to go to Makro too though.

I've never found the numbers on there accurate.

Are they discontinuing them?

i bought the hard plastic one that cost a fortune and are too heavy for kids to handle and sharpe corners!!!!:angry:

never mind i can still use lots of fabric ones!!! ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

oohhh i NEED to go to ikea!!!!:thumbsup:

I meant the boxes, don't know about the bookcase. Have you tried Wednesbury its each to get to as well at Nottingham just in the other direction.

They have the white ones so will get one of those, still gutted about the boxes, means I have to make another trip when they are back in stock!!

Im going to try and find someone that will pick them up from Wembley and I can send a courier when im at work to collect them. I don't really want to wait ages to get them as I like everything away neat and tidy.

Not discontinuing them I have asked :rolleyes: They are low on supplies as they have sold loads of bookcases whilst on offer . I NEED more black Drona boxes for my toys :panic:

yes i got a pink one for my lo bedroom looks lovely as bedside with her lamp on :) I also got a bookcase if I think I know what you mean as I already had one so now have 2 stood next to each other with the wicker baskets and they are fab look soooo tidy now and have attached labels to the baskets so the kids know what's in each one, baskets are £10 each though so still collecting have 8 need 8 more now to finish it off lol
