i am so proud of my daughter she has got an art exhibition next monday so she went into collage yesterday day (half term) to sort out the final arrangements anyway the principal wanted to speak to her she was really nervous as she didnt know what she wanted any way she told my daughter that she wanted to buy one of her paintings for £500 my daughter said if it doesnt sell at the exhibition then yes principal then told her she is going to try and get her a scholarship for uni in september daughter is so excited and me to i really cant beleive it :D

Will show this post to my DD. She is in year 10, taking art,photography,DT and IT for GCSE. Not sure where she is heading after that but art is her best and favourite subject. Something to aim for, an inspiration.

Will show this post to my DD. She is in year 10, taking art,photography,DT and IT for GCSE. Not sure where she is heading after that but art is her best and favourite subject. Something to aim for, an inspiration.

my daughter took art at gcse in yr l0 to and it was her favorite subject she got A* lots off hard work then took it at A level got B she was so disappointed she wanted an A now she is doing a 1 year foundation course in Art she needs this to get into uni so tell your daughter to work hard the more work she does the better grade she will get at gcse good luck to her even when she thinks she cant do anymore tell her to kepp going it will be worth it thats what my daughter did :)

they are really good she has got talent too i will try and get my daughter to put some of her art work on the computer when she gets the camera back from college next week tell your daughter to keep going mine did even when all her mates were out hanging the street she was in doing art work so glad she choose it as i knew where she was (her mates from school are doing nothing now)
