Hi

Sorry to ask :blush: , but i need to write to the Housing ass, to ask for permission to childmind in my home. I really dont know what to put as I want it to sound as good as it possibly can to try and help me get the go ahead.

Has anyone had to do this before that could possible help word this letter?

I really am pants at explaining myself so any possible help will be grately received.:)

All I can say is good luck, my freeholder has told me no and they won't change their minds. I'm fighting against their decision and think I'll go ahead and do it regardless but good luck.

i put where i intend to mind (your address)
how many children max allowed (state under 8years)
what days and hours you wishing to work (mon-fri 7am-7pm)
your be doign pick and drop off at name of schools/nursery etc etc

where parents will park while dropping collecting their children

and i also stated i will take 4 weeks holiday every year but this would vary to when taken

hope it helps hun

ihope you dont get all the forms like i have so annoying

I just wanted to let you know that I have been minding in a housing ass house for 5 years now and they had no problem with it as long as I kept the housing in good condition etc which you are obv going to do if you are minding other peoples children and the rent got paid

Well I sent the letter on Tuesday but have not heard back as yet. I really hope they dont refuse esp as I have spent so much time on paperwork and courses etc...

I know I should have contacted them first but I kept putting it off.

Fingers crossed I get the go ahead soon
