Hi, does anyone know if you can claim your compulsory national insurance contributions of £2 or so per week as expenses or the o/o of your profit, I remember reading that you can not claim voluntary contributions, but these are not voluntary these are compulsory?

No you can't. They are not an expense they are a necessary evil.

If you are low income or you have children at home you might find you are exempt. Worth asking :D
