Don't get me started on half term Angel, I'm not impressed.

Probably me being silly but you'd really think the parents would tell you they have time off and not some else in front of you. I still don't know if I have him or not as she still hasn't told me when or if I'm needed.

I still have other lo so Charley is my only extra one

Half term too for me. All 6 of my mindees are term time only so a break from them.

Having 2 ex mindees back for Wed and Thurs, they are 8 and 10 and have grown up with my 2. Mum will be working at home and could do that with them there now they are older, but says they come for their social life!!

Not much planned - DS got new laptop he wants to show so will prob be playing on that for a while, farm park goes down well too.

I've re stocked the craft draws....

Cat mask kits
Door hanger kits
Some more collage bits
New paper
More glue
Tonnes to sticky tape
New scissors (where do they go, think DD1 has a secret store in her bedroom)

I won't tell the children whats in there, I'll just let them discover the new bits if they go to the craft draw.

They are allowed to do crafts whenever they like in my house......all part of my go with the flow system.

I can't stand it when you walk into somewhere and see the same craft set out for all children on the table (no offence to anyone that does this, just not my thing!)

I prefer the children to discover the new items and make what they like of them, when they like (not when I want them to!). I won't even say they are cat masks as I know some will make them into tigers, bats, dogs etc using other items in the doors.

On Tuesday I think we'll have an early Pancake day, so much easier in half term, that'll be an extra lunch time thing if they want it!

Might go to the cinema on Thursday, see whats on for the cheep kids showings.

Other than that I have no idea what we'll do, some will want to play on the Wii, watch DVD's, play in the garden. No doubt one or two will want to bake....maybe salt dough (I won't be tempted to "taste" then!)

Oh dear I'm rambling now!

Hi everyone,

Half term here as well - including my DS I have

Today - 3 + 1 after schooler (private school so not off today)
Mon - 3 aged 3, 8 and 9 (DS is going to play at a friends for the day)
Tues - 5 aged 3, 7, 7, 9 and 9
Wed - 5 " " " " "
Thurs - 5 " " " " "
Fri - 4 aged 3, 7, 8 and 9

Should have been 6 Tues, Wed and Thurs but when I picked J up from school this afternoon he said he was going to London next week. Asked Mum and she said could he come just Mon and Fri. Suits me to have one less and will still get paid full amount. DH also taking Tues and Wed off.

Only problem is I feel like I'm coming down with something - my eyes and ears are hurting so just going to dose myself up and try and get a good nights sleep!

Hoping weather is going to be ok as we like to go for walks by the river and to the park, going to meet up with a friend one day, planning on baking, hama beads (which the kids love), Wii perhaps and just wing the rest!
