hello!

don't know where to post this!

the children all love waffles ... so i bought a waffle machine :clapping:

BUT, no recipe:angry:

i have been looking up recipes on the net, and found lots, but they all seem to end up like pancakes. sometimes they have risen, but still taste 'thin' like pancakes!!! we want that nice thick 'cakey' waffle that you buy!

does anyone have a recipe? !!!

thanks!

Sorry I don't have one.

have you been to the manufacturer website? Failing that I would call them or return the machine and ask for another with instructions!

They do sound yummy

Go to Tesco (not sure where else sells it) and get a box of Betty Crocker Bisquick mix (will be in the Baking Section). Its FAB!!

On the side, is this website address:

www.bettycrocker.co.uk

There are laods of recipes on there to use the Bisquick with, including waffles. They also make quick and delicious thick American style pancakes - my daughter had some at the weekend!!

My step-mum is American and she uses it for all sorts, including a delicous chicken coating she made that was like KFC. Lovely!!

I always have a box in my cupboard!!

i have seen the betty crocker mix, and will try it.

but i like to make things from scratch, so i know exactly what is in them, so will keep hunting for a recipe!

Try a recipe for scotch pancakes, they will be thicker and may work well.
