No, don't be over silly!! If you supervise children when they are playing with any resorces there is no need to have a risk assessment for everything.

I have done risk assessments on the house and outings and I am not doing it on activites in written form but verbally.

We all risk assess everytime we put one foot in front of the other.

How about risks assessments on doing risk assessments?

1. picking up pen - RSI

2. Thinking - Brain damage

3. Using paper - climate change

4. Filing Away - risk of trapping finger in file

5. Placing file on shelf - danger that shelf will collapse under weight of risk assessments

having been stressed all day re: ofsted coming, i have to say that i love absolutely every single one of you guys for your comments as for once, i have laughed out loud!!! Thank you! I only asked as when i was on my health and safety course last week someone mentioned they had done one, and the H&S officer agreed she was right to do it.......... :panic: I think i left shortly after that!
But once again - thank you all - i feel better and may sleep tonight.
