my daughter has to make up a poem on chimpanzee, have had a look at the internet and cant find any to give her some ideas.
does anyone have a chimpanzee poem

My name is Jenny I am a chimpanzee
I like to eat fruit especially for my tea
My friend shares my home she is very cute
She hates the rain and likes to wear a boot
we have a keeper who talks to us and likes to play
I'm sure if he could he would swing like us all day
We have lots of toys and tyres too
Our favourite game is peekaboo
oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah well its not great but do whatever with it my brain is as disfunctional as the rest of me LOL

She had this one in her project but the teacher said that would get her extra points but it had to be a poem
Chimps are...
Hairy and black.
Infant's tails are white.
Mammals from Africa.
Pan Troglodytes is there scientific name.
An opposable thumb and big toe.
Not the same vocal language as you and I.
Zoos are not there favorite place.
Ears are really big!
Even has finger nails and toe nails.

I found this poem but it's about a monkey
Monkey Me
Monkey see,
monkey do,
I used to want
to be one, too.
He doesn't have a bedtime.
Bet he doesn't eat green beans!
Monkeys get to play around
the whole day long, it seems.
He doesn't have to brush his teeth
or have to comb his hair.
If he had toys I'll bet his dad
wouldn't make him have to share.
I'll bet he doesn't 'scuse me'
after each and every sneeze,
and you won't hear him 'thank you'
after every single 'please'.
But Mommy said that monkeys
don't ever watch TV ...
so that's when I decided
I'd rather just stay me.
