Hope you don't mind but it's my dad's site, it's been accredited as a Safe Site for Kids by "Safe Sites for Children" and given a 3 star rating and he's been invited to join the The American Library Association (you can't just join you have to be invited after being vetted as a safe site)

There's no pop ups, totally safe and children can submit their own stories and rhymes. There's games, puzzles, stories, rhymes, the alphabet and interactive stories.
