Wooo...£350 later...!!!

There was LOADS of stuff Ive been after for ages though - seemed to make sense to order now rather than buy in dribs and drabs and pay more for postage + cost.

Thanks for the link! :)

Dont think Mr S will be too pleased though...:o

From what I have worked out SBS are quite sneaky and they don't send all their mailings to everyone. My friend in the village always gets different ones to me so we pool resources. There is no mention of the sale on the site and you can not order the sale items online so they probably sent it to me because of the amount I spend with them:laughing:

I've ended up buying the emotions puppets, occupational tabards, identity coat hooks, loads of ready mixed paints, endangered animals/dinosaur stencils, nature palm printers, sponge dip bowls, crayons, artmaker carousel, paints brushes and sugar paper. All for under £75 including delivery. I'm well chuffed, although it took some time because the items are intially listed at the full price. I had to find the item I was after and run it through the advanced search facility for the sale prices to appear.

Hubby will tut at me buying them now before I'm registered  but hey I may as well get everything reduced while I can.

I like the identity hooks too but playing it cool for now as hubby has only just put a set of 4 up for me after a bit of nagging.

I need to decide where to put it too as my hallway is so narrow and it could possibly be classed as a blockage to the fire exit.

I forgot to enter the 5% off code too but never mind buying at sale price is still a good deal, its the added vat and postage after as it stung me for an additioanl £10.00 ish but better than going out in the snow.

The sand is a good deal too, slightly more than argos but its delivered to the door rather than attempting to lump it around. I didnt order it yet though waiting for better weather

Hi All,

My order status is still showing "pending payment approval". I placed my order on the evening of 08/02, I'm not expecting delivery yet but I thought the payment would have been taken by now. Anyone else getting the same?

Virtually everything I ordered was at a reduced price and I'm concerned in case they cancel the order citing price errors.

Virtually everything I ordered [on 8th February] has now been delivered. I did pay on credit card but I'm unsure if they've taken the payment yet. Judging by the paperwork NES Arnold have set up a trade account for me.

The coat hooks came on Saturday and were damaged in transit :( (ends were slightly squashed). I rang NES up and they told me I would receive a new one and to do what I wanted with the original. I'm going to tart it up and still use it.

All in all I'm pretty happy with the service I've experienced. However I don't think it's right that NES have carried out credit checks on you guys paying with debit cards.

Mine said that for ages too. When it arrived loads of stuff was missing - including the sand!! In fact, most of the stuff I REALLY wanted wasnt there, which annoyed me. Definately dont feel like I got my monies worth. Also, a couple of the things that I ordered didnt seem to be what the picture showed on the website. Am really gutted cos I spent an absolute fortune. :( Ah well, live and learn. After all that money, the only stuff the kids play with are the playdoh stuff and the cot. And I already had playdoh stuff!! Still...I guess I wont be giving it to the taxman to throw at some fat cat banker, and that can only be a good thing!

Well, I finally gave in to temptation last night and spent a fortune. Just hoping it is what it looks like after reading other posts now and also that it doesn't take ages to come. I tried to order things which linked to each area of the EYFS of which I don't have much of! Hubby asked me where I was going to put it all as we are already overflowing with toys and I just said ermmmmm I will find somewhere ( ). How I dream of a playroom :(

It doesn't seem to give you the original price and appears that the sale items are not reduced. Does anyone else know. The coat hooks come up at £8 is that the full price or sale price.

Polka Dots
20-02-2009, 03:33 PM
£8 plus vat is the sale price, originally they were £30 odd.
