Hello everyone

I had a call today for a mum looking for care for 2 children, 1 x 1 year and 1 x 2 year old.

From 8.30pm - 3pm. for 4 days a week.

I dont know if to charge her for 2 children in full or offer discount. the children are currently with another childminder who is giving up so I dont know whats she being charged now. I dont know this childminder to ask her.

Does discount depend on what work is going to be involved, there ages? its going to be hard work as 2 year is not able to walk very well so Im going to have to use a double buggy and put her on a buggy board (which I dont have) as it sounds like she doesnt do alot of walking.

I really dont know what to do? please help.

I offer a 50p discount for sibblings. The oldest one is the cheapest as generally they are less work.

I do offer a discount

All my children have been coming to me for ages though

But I think if I had new children now from the same family I would charge the same and offer no discount

I have thought about this and why should you be out of pocket

They still recieve all their tax credits etc

I would def charge the same for each child if I was you

Good luck

I'm the same - they are taking up 2 places so should be charged the same!

Hope the interview goes well! :D
