anyone doing anything for groundhog day? I dont usually but am trying to find a print out, but alot of sites you have to be a member:panic:

We covered this last year and had great fun.
Groundhogs are really cute and we looked at lots of pictures of them on google images (Kuw) before drawing some of our own (CD) and counting them (psr&N). We then had fun making some American food - healthy eating burger and some potato wedges (pd) and sharing it out (psr&n and Psed) before going outside to play and pretending (Cd) to be groundhogs, bouncing around (Pd). We also looked at the initial letter of the word groundhog and found it in some books we read later (cll) about animals... this led to lots of animal activities the next day because the children were inspired. :D
