Hi All

I just need some confirmation again re: numbers please.

My certificate states that I

"may care for no more than 4 children from 1 year to under 8 years; of these, not more than 2 may be under 5 years at any one time"

My daughter turned one a while ago and I only just sent off details to change my certificate. meaning I should be able to care for 3 kids from 1 year to under 8 including my daughter and a baby.

My question is if i dont have a under one can i have an over 1.

2 mums called me last week. One mum has 14 month old and wants care 2 days a week 9-5pm.
Other mum has 2 kids a 3 & 5 year old. 3 year old 9-5:30pm until September when she goes to school and her brother 3-5:30pm

Does that mean I am still within my numbers. My daughter is 15 months old.

Thanks (mum visiting tomorrow)

it sounds like you can

as you are register for 4 children and 2 can be under five
if you take on these three children you have one space left but only for an over 5 and the three other days the part time one don't come you can have an under 5 or over 5
if you were to take on an under one you will have to wait for your new certificate.
but the numbers on your registration certificate don't include your children that is why it said from 1 to under 8 as your daughter was under one at the time
