I've read that a lot of you have these for you tables. Where did you get them from as i've been looking for a couple of weeks now and not seen them in any shops. My table is about 120cms by 70cms. How much are they roughly?

thanking you kindly x

thank you!

The only reason i'm after the elasticated ones is so the they, and the table contents, couldnt be pulled down by a toddler.

I got mine from a lovely lady on ebay and paid about £15 for it, but I've just had a look and her web shop has gone :( There are some more on there though by a different seller - just search for "fitted tablecloth".

That sounds like a good idea!
I have one of those oil cloth type ones, with coloured pencils printed on it from Dunelm, quite heavy so not easy to pull off the table..

Try and type Cafe covers in E-bay search engine and there are some nice printed circular elasticated table covers. They are PVC but very strong. Not sure if they do square ones though. :)

mine is from Dunelm too, and I used a staple gun to secure it to the underside of my kitchen table:) Maybe not a great idea if you have a posh dining room suite though!:)

Am I right thinking an elasticated tablecloth will fit like an ironing board? x

This is what you're looking for in the fabric department. You buy it by the metre. At the moment I've got the nursery rabbit one & stick it to a child's Ikea table & chairs. It make it very easy to wipe clean

Some of them make good bases for tough spots etc. The nemo one is good to put in the bottom, then fill with water. It dries out pretty well afterwards.

I have an elasticated one. It's plastic and is from lakeland. Unfortunately they said they are not making them anymore when I tried to replace mine. Maybe if we all ask they might restock them
