Well done on completing tax return. That was cutting it fine!
Made myself do mine before Xmas - what a stupid time of year to do one - enough expense as it is!!

unfortuantely waht i was doing last weekend was the preparation work so that i could actually get them filed my hubby works in london and doesn't get home until late so he hasn't felt like doing them at all this week, he's home today so hopefully if his work commitments allow today he may get them filed this morning

What I was told (when I rung them in a panic) is that if you think you will have something to pay - pay that amount (or as near a guesstimate as you can). If you haven't got owt to pay then its unlikely you will get fined - but do not take this bit as gospel!

and I am soooo glad that I was not the only one to leave it to the last minute - oh well guess you can't be perfect and everything eh:rolleyes: :D

I was told that too when I called the Inland revenue. But not sure if it is worth risking though

exactly!!! mind you I was getting myself in a tizz about it (me and figures just don't go togther at all - think I need to work on my mathematical development! ) and I thought I'd rather just pay the £100 fine than get so stressed about the darned thing:blush:

Next one on 6th April, you've got to be kidding:laughing:

Pipsqueak you really brighten my day, have I said that before?

Apparently there was a shed load of peeps that didn't file on time this year.

Think the country's gone into apathy mode.
