Well done! :clapping: I'm very depressed, I went into an M&S fitting room yesterday and I didn't know they had mirrors on every damn wall! Everywhere I looked it was me and my fat. It really was horrible. I must do soemthing about it, says she drinking a milky coffee! I love biscuits and cakes and butter and I need somehting to nibble during the day that's not biscuits but I'm not keen on fruit. Thought about trying some of the oat biscuits? Well done you who've lost though, I've not even tried! :(

How long has it taken to lose that amount?

I started on 29th December 2008:thumbsup: (so just over 3 months) I have had a few planned 'eats' and also 2 or 3 weeks off it here and there:rolleyes: but but I have manged to be really good, as my whole focus on food has changed and make good choices on what I eat

It would be alot more if I stuck to the diet 100% but never mind this is what is working for me, and I have a bit going on that I want to enjoy so there:p

If you've not lost but stayed the same chances are its inches your losing hun which can only be a good thing!! Well done on getting into a size 14 - thats my goal!!! :D :D Got loads of clothes in the loft from pre kids days - most are classics so should't be out of fashion, lol!!!

Sometimes your body just rebels and refuses to let any more of the fat molicules go which is why people go through a plateau.

I do think that it is probably due to water retention as is TOTM especially if you haven't drunk enough in the few days before you weighed in.

I know that it is disappointing but don't let it get you down and hang on I am sure you will have a fab loss next weigh in.

:( trying to stay focused, but finding it very hard, had rice last night and woke up at 5am feeling really guilty:panic: I don't want to feel like this on a diet

BUT did have a sneaky weigh in and have lost 2lb since weds so thats keeping me going:o

Sigh, I think because I am getting close to goal, and feel so small to before I started this is why its getting hard. I haven't been this weight since I fell pg with dd in dec 2003!

My size 14 jeans are starting to feel lose and I need completley new top half of a wardrobe as they now look so silly hanging off me, so WHY can't I see the end result:crying: Been a long slog I think started on 29th Dec 08 but I know I never would of been where I am so quickly

Never mind, better to write it down and hopefully my own lightbulb will flash haha xx

Thanks for popping by x

You have done so well Rubes, everyone who has been losing seems to have done fantastically. Not me, I'm going at my own little speed lol. :o I'm losing a teeny bit butI'm not gaining - usually!

I think it's you I've seen on the photos with hubby (in the blue dress?) and you look amazing. I still get confused as to who is who sometimes, it's my age. I'm still trying to struggle into my size 14's and can't. I can get them on in the mornings but by lunch time I have to get them off. I bloat so much during the day and I'm not sure if it's the food I eat or do most people bloat as the day goes on.

Keep up your good work

childmind04

I think its a mind over matter thing, once you see your goal and realise how well you have done you think "one little bit wont harm you" then that leads to another then .......

You have done VERY well and should be very proud of yourself, try and keep focused for the last bit and the results should give you the motivation to stay that way :)

2lb loss is great so hopefully that may help you see how well you have done :)
