Got an enquiry

It's the one that I thought was 6-6 but then realised the start time would be between 6-6.30 am .

I'm hoping i will be reg'd in the next 2weeks as i need to start earning.

Anyway the enquiry came from a friend who knows someone. she works 4 days on 4 days off and it would only be beofre school. i would take this girl [7] in my sons year to school with us.

my rate would normally be 3.50 and my opening hours would be from 7 usually.

So I'm thinking I will charge more as it is unsociable hours but would i only charge more for that 1 hour of for the time until school?

plus as I'm usually charging a normal hourly rate of 3,50 what would you charge extra?

If she is arriving between 6 and 6.30am you will have to charge from 6am. I charge by the hour and I charge 50p per hour more for anything under 20 hours a week. other people on here charge a fixed rate for the before or after school slots.

say £12-15 per session.

It depends where you live and what the rates are at your local before / after school clubs.

I can't charge more than £3 - £3.50 an hour for my before / after schoolers or I wouldn't get the business... the club is only £6 a session including a cooked tea and they advertise heavily.

round here as well parents would not pay for extra time if you're not working, so I wouldn't be able to charge from before the child arrives if that makes sense.

It really is about where you live and the expectations of your area.
