child's interest - opening and closing

Hi I have a 14 mth old mindee who's really interested in opening and closing things ie cupboard doors, play pen gate. I'm trying to write an individual plan for him with ideas from each of the learning areas but i'm a bit stuck. can you experts help me?!

so far i've thought about books with flaps, 'pop up' toys with doors to open, boxes/baskets with lids with interesting things in

can you think of anything else?

Do you have a play house because you could put about the door and windows.
Maybe put a cloth on the floor and put toys under it for them to lift and find.
If you get a cardboard box you could make a door on it then it could be a house or if your creative you could try and turn it into a car with a door.
Hope that gives a few more ideas.
