Enquiry & Variation Request

Hi all,

Had an enquiry from a parent looking for care for Weds and Thurs only 8-6 for 10 month old. Currently I have room but from April I have another child (who will be 9 months) starting with me (contracts signed last year) and I already care for a 16 month old. It will then mean that I would go over my numbers on Weds. mornings by 4.5 hours.

I have just emailed Ofsted requesting a variation - does anyone know how long they take to reply and do you think they would grant it??

I sent a letter rather than email, it was done fairly quickly but did have to chase them up. May need to apply for the same thing again after tomorrow as for a different child!!

Hope they grant it for you, for 4.5 hrs can't see a problem, mine was/will be for 6 hrs a week over 2 mornings! As long as you put in your email HOW you meet all the needs/requirements for the children, that you have all the equipment e.g buggy, buggy board/reins, high chairs, travel cots etc...
