Capital Grant

Hi All

The money arrived in my account today, whey hey! Will be taking some of my mindees to Toys R Us to pick what new toys they would like and am going on a spending spree at the weekend for my approved items. What is everyone else getting with their grant? I listed a garden mirror, a new buggy, digi camera, music player, books and toys. I'm so excited for the little ones it's great for them to have new things

I emailed our local childminding association and the lady who replied back was brilliantly she said apparently our council is hiring two people to decide what to do with the grant money :rolleyes: she said the association would gladly tell them how to spend it for free! Apparently they have the local MP involved and she is sending people to sit in on the meetings to find out what is happening with the money. So fingers crossed the pressure will force the council to spend our £940.666 from last April, each year for the next 3 years!
