You are probably all aware that I have mindee parents coming today. Now, at that time of day mine get crabby and I usually let them watch a bit of Mr Tumble but I think it doesn't look good so was going to get an activity out for mine to play with to keep them amused. The thing that comes to mind is either happy land (in living room, where will be talking to parents) or dry play with pasta etc as they love that (in the kitchen). They are bringing a 3yr old who will hopefully want to play with them as he is used to being with a childminder. I'm going to print out some colouring pictures too as mine love colouring and puzzles.

What do you put out to keep the children amused while you talk?

I would normally put out the toys in the living room where I can keep an eye on the children.

I hope you got on okay?

My big one (9) is usually up in her room when I am interviewing ( never know what she might say so best to keep her out the way  ) and I just have toys out in the lounge for my youngest and potential mindee
