I have my first parents coming Sat, both parents and a child. I'm extremely nervous as the terms they want are perfect for me so I'm trying to calm myself down to make a list of everything that NEEDS to get done as not all of it HAS to get done but is desirable.

Will let you know what happens.

Good luck, relax and be yourself. That's what the parents will want to see above all :)

Paperwork will show you are professional and organised but make sure you show your 'human' side! :D

Let us know how you do

Good Luck!

I write a list of pointers that I want to tell them, as I always ending up talking about other things, then realising after they have gone...."oh I never told them that".

relax and be yourself:)

Yes, I do that too - I also ask them what their main concerns are and when they tell me I talk a little about how I can manage that (e.g. if they have irregular hours and I can fit them in no problem).

Good luck.

It went fantastic they are a lovely family, she said yes but wanted to chat with hubby about it and confirm properly by phone and then we will arrange to sign.

She was concerned as I have a space now and she didn't want me to take a baby on now, instead of waiting for hers in Oct. I have said I wouldnt and once I've signed I will be tied to my word. Realistically even if I did the baby I took now would more than likely be over 1 by Oct anway. Have a positive feeling and am so pleased its over with.
