:clapping: yey, just checked mine and mine has changed today to stage 5 and hubbies still at stage 4. Not long now I hope.
Does anyone know how long from CRB checks completed until cert comes...what happens once the crb check has finsihed ?

Mine and hubby's at stage 4 and has been since 13th Nov. Called CRB today as it's been 60 days and the police & Ofsted will get a letter saying they have 10 days to get it sorted!:thumbsup:

i had a nightmare with mine when i registered (2006) - i think it depends on how many places you've lived particularly if you've moved around the country! i've lived in 3 counties since the age of 18 so mine took nearly 4 months to come thru!!! :)

Mine where taken by my ofsted lady today and she said the crb people would have them by friday, then ill have to play the waiting game too :D :laughing:

Ask Ofsted for your ref no. your dp will have to ask for his own as they won't give it to you. Then check it on www.crb.gov.uk

It will be 60 days this week that my hubby's crb's have been sat on someones desk:( then i can finally ask them to cahse it up. Just hope it's not another 60 days i'll be waiting!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup: thanks for the advice, i'll get my number to track my application. 60 days is plain ridiculous and most definately not the 4 week turnaround they aim for. :mad:

Mines been 47 days so I can chase again in 13 days, when I rang last week that was all the help they could give me. Got hubbys through after 2 wks x

wow that was quick. i rang ofsted this morning to ask for my crb tracker reference. he thought i was being premature (i told him organised ;) ) he said you do realise it takes a minimum of 8 weeks. :eek: er no i should hope it's a maximum of 8 weeks at the very most. :panic: we'll see. once it's on there i'll be looking every day i know i will!

had a call from ofsted 2day, they have not recieved their copy of CRB so i have had 2 send them mine recorded delivery as they cant sign it off an 2 get duplicate cud take weeks x
