I hope someone knows. I know there is a Makaton website, maybe that could help you.
I look after a girl who uses a bit of makaton, but not much, I know what she wants and know the makaton that she knows but classes would be a great thing to learn and could help me with both the child and other children in the future.

Contact your local early years team or try the library. I did a course a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.

Thanks. I watched a program the other day with my granddaughter called Mr Tumble who uses signing as well as talking. What a fab program. My granddaughter only 2 started doing the signs too by the end of it. I think its great learning for the children even if you dont have children that need it. My mindees will definately be watching in future. Only 15 min so not too bad.
