Hi all

Was just wondering if anyone charged extra for providing evening meals? Just now I charge £3.50 per hour but nothing extra for meals etc however have been hearing of more people who do. I have 1 child who has dinner 3 times a week, 1 who has dinner 4 times a week and another 2 who has dinner once a week. Just looking to see what others do.

Thanks
Tracey

I charge for evening meals for anyone here after 5.30 if required. Mainly this is to put people off because we prefer to eat as a family at 6 when hubby gets in. I have one here until 6.15 most days and parent sends food for her which is fine with me.

I do charge extra for all meals.

For the evening meal which is always a hot cooked one I charge £1.50 although one parent insists on paying £2.00 as it's easier to pay £10.00 for the week rather than £7.50 iykwim and who am I to argue :D

Yes I charge for all meals and all parents are happy with it. I do give the choice that they can bring a packed lunch if they prefer.
I charge £1 for lunch and £1 for tea ( light tea) I really never wanted to do tea for anyone, but if it is a light tea of sandwiches somehting quicj like noodles, toast and beans, etc then I will do it. But I will always charge for them x

My little ones always bring their own meals which I only have to warm up but I charge £1.50 for a hot meal for my after school children.

Must confess I've never charged extra for meals I couldn't be bothered to work out the account side of it.

I charge £4.50ph for full time

£5.00ph for anything under 20hrs per week

All I ask the parents to provide is nappies and sun cream this way has always worked well for me.
