I have 2 printers. 1 for everyday printing which is a brother MJC240 that copies, scans, prints and faxes (this is a couple of years old but I got it from PC World for £0.00) and the inks are cheap.

My other one 1 brought 2 weeks ago which also has individual inks and is an Epson Stylus D120. Just prints but is a lot quicker - again cheap on ink

I always like HP ones. The one i've got now is an all in one, that I picked up from Makro for £25.

I have HP photosmart one too. If you are using a laptop I would recommend getting a wireless printer.

I have got the Lexmark X4550 which is an all in one printer. Had it for almost a year and had no problems with it (touch wood!). I go through lots of ink and I buy it from Cartridgeking on the net.

It is also a wireless printer, though I find it sometimes interferes with the internet connection so use the lead instead.

I have a Lexmark X4580. DH got it when I was ill in bed with flu xmas 2007. Works a treat but hard to get ink cartridges, don't bother with this one! Unlessyou can find ink easier than I can :D

(Only get ink from Currys or PC World, no cheap versions available as far as I can see No.2 and No.3)
