Do you have to be in the garden with all children all the time or can the over 8's be outside bythem selves and covered by the insurance? If so do mm or ncma cover this?

Im afraid I dont know the answer to this one. It might be worth giving them a ring to check.

Other posts about letting over 8's play outside unaccompanied have just said they got parents permission to do it.

I thought at least if I post it will bump it up and someone in the know might see it :)

Children must be in your sight or hearing for you to be legal - that's in the Eyfs.

No idea about older ones in the garden - I think you can use your common sense.

If you are concerned, I suggest you give Ncma / MM a ring tomorrow :D

Hi Donna

I can confirm that MM will not and NCMA will cover children over 8 playing unaccompanied by yourelf or another responsible adult as long as you have permission of the parent. I presume from this that NCMA will cover the garden but am unsure as to MM.

Could you let us now if you call MM

Thanks
