I think the stuff is called green gunk or green goo, something like that anyway, I was told you can buy it from Halfords, presumably other bike shops sell it too. If you just gp to a cycle shop and ask for a can of the stuff you spray into inner tubes for punctures I am sure they wil know what you mean, lol!

No idea how you do it though as I haven't put it in mine yet

I've been thinking about buying a buggy with inflatable tires so I'd be interested in knowing how you get on mushpea.

*waiting patiently for an update*

All the tyres on my Phil and Teds are filled with slime. It's fabulous stuff and saves any flat tyre problems.

Slime....usually green but the last bottle I got was orange. It comes with a little tool to pull the pin out of the inner tube (the bit inside the bit you put the pump onto to pump tire up...if that makes sense). Then attach the straw type thing to the inner tube to get the slime in. Make sure you get the inner tube slime and not tire slime (tire slime will damage the inner tube).

The way it works is it will fill any tiny holes in the inner tube as the wheel goes round so your less likely to get a puncture

So far iv had no more punctures on my single or double since using it so a thumbs up here

I can definately recommend it. I had a phil & Teds and only after a couple of trips the tyres kept deflating. After putting this stuff in (off ebay) they never went down again! no lie.

I have had the slime put into my tyres by Halfords. However, I am not sure that they did this properly as I now have a flat tyre  . It's lucky I am not working until New Year as this was triple pushchair and I would have no other way of transporting the three little ones.

After reading your pst can you confirm that this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SLIME-TYRE-INNER-TUBE-SEALANT-STOP-FLATS-SELF-HEALING_W0QQitemZ220329714292QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK _sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR?hash=item22032 9714292&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1298%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318 is what I need and do not need to buy the inner tubes as well? Sorry having a thick day :)

looks like it is. Id email them to check though. You dont need to buy inner tubes assuming you already have inner tubes for your buggy
