Got a letter this afternoon from the Care Commission to get me to check over the details for my certificate and I should have that naxt week but they have given me all my details so now I'm happy as I didn't want to start advertising until I had it confirmed from them.

From the time I put my application in until I got my letter the other day was 11 weeks in total which I thought was quite quick as we were told it could be up to 6 mths.

Just wanted to say congrats - I see you are with the Care Commission so see that means you are in Scotland. Where about? I am in West Lothian. I too was doing this about this time last year however seemed to take me ages. I started registering in late October and took me to end of Feb! Been doing this since March now and love it (most of the time!).
Anyway as has been said - wlcome to the wold of childminding - and although read a lot of posts here, don't seem to have much time to post replies - but this site is FULL of lots of good advice -so kkep looking - and to everyone else - THANKS!
