I was told by my inspector three years ago this coming February that it would be three years. Don't know if it varies from area to area but It has been nearly three years for me.:)

they are still working on a 3yearly cycle - but they might be slightly longer....

it was 3.5 years between my inspections. Don't know if that helps.

We have been told that Ofsted started a new cycle on 1 September 2008 and all names are back in the pot so you could be inspected at any time regardless of when your last inspection was.

Certainly know of one person who has been inspected twice this year. At our last network meeting we were told that any communication with Ofsted (such as asking for a variation) could trigger an inspection.

Miffy is right. The new 3 year inspection cycle started afresh in September of 2008. So any one of us could potentially have the dread call at any time now. :panic:

I didn't know that as well! I was hoping for atleast another 2 years LOL. Think I'm doing ok! Don't really want to go through that yet though........
