Hi, I've only ever used a safety gate on our little ones bedroom door and not bothered with the stairs (they were never interested in climbing). I've been looking at my staircase and because of the bannister shape I'll need a gate around 90cm in height. Is there such a thing? What should I do if I can't get one tall enough?

Lindam makes dog gates too - available from argos/argos.com. I bought one ages ago (when I had a dog) and think it was about 30 quid if thats any help. They are identical to their baby gates just taller, providing you go for the indoor type.

Finally purchased the Lindam extra tall safety gate from Argos yesterday (or rather hubby did), £29.99. It's got an alarm on it too so I can hear if it's open when it's not suppose to be. :)
