I was looking on the NCMA website this morning, & started looking at courses. I liked the look of the Quality first, until I saw the price - £250

Decided against that - I'm not sure dh would approve to me spending that much.

Then, about a hour later my post arrived, and in it was info about the Quality First scheme, and a letter saying 'Thank you for enquiring. Fortunatley we are able to fund this, with no cost to yourselves, just return the application form to us.' :clapping: :jump for joy: :clapping:

So after me feeling really down the last couple of days this had cheered me up, and means I can use my brain a bit to do something.

Just need to wait for the DHC courses to come up so I can do them too. :D

Quality first is great!

It's all about examining what you do... and there's no pass or fail

our area do a local quality assurance scheme called Steps to Quality. I have done Step 1. I started Step 2 over 2 years ago and not done anything. I need to finish it in the next couple of months or I have to redo Step again. Trouble is here it is more a case of telling you the way you should be doing things how they think!!!!!. Plus it doesn't count for anything and not even mentioned in my Ofsted report so is it worth it.
