Cant take credit for this one as fellow childminder told me about it.

Go to below link and shows you how to make it.

link doesn't work now and goes to lots of advertising, so removed

Made it with my 2 daughters as probably a little hard for little ones but looks really good.

We made it today and it looks fantastic. Proudly on display in my hall. :)

If I can do it anyone can ~ honestly ~ very easy.

One of my mindee's gave me on eof these for my christmas present this morning, it is a huge one with gold ribbons on the edges :) it is lovely xxx

These are the ones we've made in the past

3D snowflake

I forgot to say that if you use an a4 sheet to make large squares (to make therefore a huge star) you can use the left over rectangle to make 2 small squares which can be part of a smaller tree sized star.
So overall 6 sheets of A4 paper will make 1 large star and 2 small ones

mine has been hanging in the playroom all year!

busy making more now! am going to try with coloured paper and maybe even christmas wrapping paper!

its keeping my 6yr+ mindees VERY busy, and not much mess, unlike the avalanche produced from traditional 'snowflakes' :D
