mixing paint?

Please can someone tell me what colour paint you mix to get brown

Just give all the paints to the children they will make brown!!! sorry:( red and blue?

Isn't it difficult to hold back and not say anything to the kids when they've chosen what colours they want to paint with and then they immediately take a brush and mix them up before they've even touched the paper:laughing: ...... and they didn't even choose brown!
